The Meon Valley Garden
Club’s activities are centred primarily in Droxford
and Meonstoke, two villages in the heart of the Meon Valley.
Places to See
The Meon Valley is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty and has many visitor attractions, including Old Winchester
Hill, Beacon Hill, the 11th century Saxon church in Corhampton
and the National Trust house and garden at Bramdean. There
are numerous footpaths and bridle ways in the area, which
is very popular with walkers and riders alike. Why not combine
a visit to our annual flower show with some walking or sightseeing
in the Meon Valley and spend the night at one of the many
welcoming hostelries in the area.
