Plant Sale

As ever we had a long queue across The Square waiting to come in. The tables were full, thanks to the generosity of members and others, including Meon Valley Nursery. There is always a mad rush initially and the tables soon thin down. There are some really good plants people in the Club, so some interesting and unusual plants for sale. And the prices are exceptional also. This is a really good fund raising event for the Club – about £325 this year. So we need to thank Ruth Davies and Ken Cartwright for all their hard work, and all the members of the Committee who also work to make this such a success.
Our Plant Sales are always on the first Saturday in May and October, so if you missed it this time, make a note in your diary.
