Coffee Morning

The Garden Club held a very successful Coffee Morning, in the gardens of two members in Droxford. The Coffee Morning was originally set up to raise funds to cover the cost of the luxury hamper, used as the first prize each year at the Summer Show. This year a total of £129 was raised from the sale of Plants, Cakes and refreshments and a Raffle. Despite a gloomy forecast from the Met. Man, it was a lovely morning and members sat about in the gardens. Thanks to Jill and Barry Austin and Olive Hathaway for the use of their gardens, and Win and Neil Westbrook for Car Parking space. Also to Bob and Corinne Solen for the Plant Stall and Janet Searle for the Raffle.
