4 Society Quiz

An annual event on the calendar is a Quiz, when several local Garden Clubs or Horticultural Societies get together for a social evening.  Each takes it in turn to host the evening, and this year was the turn of Denmead Horticultural Society.  There were only 3 teams, as the 4th had dropped out, but there are plans for asking others to join.  The Quiz Master was Peter Collett and a very enjoyable and not too taxing quiz was given.  I am happy to report that the Meon Valley Garden Club won with 90 points, and the other teams had the same score of 81.5.  The Quiz was followed by a very good range of refreshments.
